Applications
We are starting with three fields where long flight times and end-to-end data processing make a real difference: infrastructure inspection, transport and logistics, and city and border surveillance. The drone and software are in development right now, and as a small team we can feed practical feedback into them quickly.
Infrastructure inspection
Challenge
Pipelines and railway lines stretch over many kilometres and need regular inspection. Today that often happens on foot, by vehicle or by helicopter, which ties up a lot of staff and time. Battery-powered drones quickly run up against their flight time.
What we deliver
Our drone is designed to capture long sections in a single flight. Suitable sensors record the data, and the software processes it and delivers the results for your GIS. The aim is to let you document the condition of your assets and changes along the route with less effort.
Transport and logistics
Challenge
Small, urgent deliveries over longer distances are often slow and expensive by road, especially in poorly connected areas or difficult terrain. For many drones, that is simply too far.
What we deliver
Our drone takes off and lands vertically, so it needs no runway. Its long flight time is meant to let it carry goods over greater distances. The development targets for the full-scale drone are a payload of around 20 kg and a range of around 100 km (see specifications).
City and border surveillance
Challenge
Keeping urban districts or border sections under observation for long periods currently takes a lot of staff or many separate flights. Short flight times mean frequent interruptions for battery changes or recharging.
What we deliver
With its long flight time, the drone can watch an area for long stretches without a break. The software combines the sensor data and makes it available, georeferenced, in your GIS.
Further applications
Later we want to move into further fields such as remote sensing, scientific observation or agriculture. First, we are testing the platform in our first three fields.
Does your task fit one of these fields?
Write to us. The earlier we know your requirements, the better we can take them into account during development.
